Christopher P. Housh, EA
Chris Housh is an Enrolled Agent at our Firm. Working with one of our attorneys, Chris’s main work focus’ on representing clients before collections divisions of federal and state taxing authorities. For instance, he routinely negotiates installment payment agreements, Offers in Compromise, penalty abatements, and garnishment releases and other liability resolutions with the taxing agencies on behalf of our clients. He also an integral part of our audit representation team and represents clients before the IRS, FTB, EDD, and SBE.
Chris began his career with our Firm in 2000 as a legal document assistant. Over the years, he built a reputation with the clients and representatives of the taxing agencies as being a knowledgeable, friendly and passionate negotiator. While working as a legal document assistant, Chris actively guided clients successfully through audits to lower liabilities and assisted in developing case strategies for Offers in Compromises that resulted in savings for qualifying clients totaling several millions of dollars.
Chris is experienced in tax compliance and tax planning for self-employed individuals, beginning businesses and artisans. Chris has been a favorite of our clients for many years as an assistant and continues to strive for excellent results for all of our current and future clients.
Education
Chris has a Bachelor’s Degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is an Enrolled Agent authorized by the IRS to represent taxpayers in tax controversies.
